1. Case No. BOA-2016-3. Address: 2020 S Old Highway 94 (Bax Engineering). Two (2) Requests. 1st – Request to decrease the minimum front yard setback for parking areas from 25 feet to 9 feet as required in §400.220(D)(8)(a) of the City of St. Charles Code of Ordinances and 2nd – Request to decrease the minimum landscape buffer adjacent to right-of-way from 15 feet to 5 feet as required in §400.700(J)(2)(a) of the City of St. Charles Code of Ordinances. Request to decrease the minimum front yard setback along Prairie Haute Drive for a single-family residence from 30 feet to 25 feet as required in §400.150(E)(5)(a)(1) of the City of St. Charles Code of Ordinances. Request to remove the requirement for a sight-proof fence or wall along a street which acts as screening for Outdoor Storage uses as listed in the Industrial Performance Standards and as required by §400.250(F) of the City of St. Charles Code of Ordinances. 4. Case No. BOA-2016-6. Address: 313 Sandra Avenue (Jack & Theresa Dillow). Request to increase the size of an accessory structure (garage) from 50% of the ground floor area of the principal building on the lot (546.41 square feet) to 67.35% of the ground floor area (736 square feet) as required by §400.530(A)(7). The zoning for the subject property is R-1E Single- Family Residential District. (Ward 2)
5. Case No. BOA-2016-7. Address: 3889 Mexico Road (Quiktrip Corporation – Gwen Keen). Four (4) Requests for two (2) service station freestanding signs (1 per street frontage). 1st – Request to increase the maximum square footage of a service station freestanding sign from 24 square feet to 86.41 square feet as required in §400.1650(A)(2), 2nd – Request to increase the maximum height of a service station freestanding sign from 6 feet to 9 feet, 1 inch as required in §400.1650(A)(2), 3rd – Request to increase the height of the price component portion of the freestanding sign from 5 feet to 5.25 feet as required in §400.1650(A)(3) and 4th – Request to increase the size of the price component portion of the freestanding sign from 12 square feet to 36.75 square feet as required in §400.1650(A)(3) of the City of St. Charles Code of Ordinances.
